I am almost giddy as I prepare for my trip to Chicago for the Saleshacker conference on Wednesday. Speaking at these conferences allows me to share my point of view with audiences around the country as well as learn from my industry peers. It is an honor to speak alongside amazing people, and I get to inspire and motivate others. What could be better than that?
When I reflect on where I’ve come from over the past 25 years, I marvel at how many incredible people there are to share ideas with each day. The world is this vast patchwork quilt of diverse thoughts and wisdom collected over years and years of time. Speaking on stage invigorates me, but more than that, I am propelled to higher levels of thought when I am around colleagues, friends and mere strangers.
At the end of the day, we learn through sharing, researching and opening up to other points of view. My wish is that people who hear me speak walk away with something new that they can apply immediately as well as share these thoughts with their circles of influence. It is this dialogue that makes the world rich with diversity and innovation.
So, if you happen to be at the Saleshacker conference this week, please come by and say hello.
